The Brothers Brick are running a cosy Lego Animal Crossing meets Dungeons and Dragons mash-up campaign called ‘Heroes of Fur and Feather’, here is my character creation: Flossy Fleecefoot the highland defender.

Flossy’s backstory
Flossy Fleecefoot was born in the Highland mists, where her clan guarded a silver shield with a unicorn crest. When raiders came, Flossy used her quick hooves and clever tricks to reclaim the shield, ushering it to safety under fog’s cover.
Now she roams far from home, the unicorn shield strapped to her back, living by laughter and cunning as she swindles the cruel and pranks the pompous. Leaving chalk unicorn doodles as her calling card wherever she went.
- Name: Flossy Fleecefoot

Delving Day: Fortune’s Frond
Today is Delving Day, the rite of passage when fledglings must leave behind the safety of the Valley and embrace the hidden perils within Dungeon Crossing in order to seek their very own questing quarry.
“You can’t be a hero until you’ve completed your first Delve at Dungeon Crossing.”
Flossy Fleecefoot didn’t sleep a wink last night, even after counting her (woolly) mammoth family tree. She was anxious about consulting the Questing Beast – Tamouk – what challenging quarry would he assign her?
At the first flicker of daylight, she quickly made her modest offering, or tithing, to Tamouk. Flossy’s clan aren’t rich in golden bells, but they are blessed with the finest wool in all the highlands.
Handing over a small fuchsia ball of the softest yarn, Tamouk gave a wry smile and invited Flossy to spin the Wheel of Wonders.
After what felt like eternity, the golden wheel landed on the vegetable symbol. Without any hesitation, Flossy immediately began her delve and headed straight to the Whispering Woods to prove herself to the Valley elders.
If there’s one thing Flossy knows, that’s grass in all its wondrous forms, and the most revered of them all is the mythical four-leafed variety.
Despite checking thousands, perhaps millions, of two and three-leaf clovers, this little lamb’s hopes are in a far worse state than her muddy hooves.
As midnight approached, Flossy entered an eerily quiet clearing. Faint from hunger, she stumbled upon Fortune’s Frond lying alone on the soft moss, its emerald leaves glinting under the dappled light. As she picked it up, the wind shifted, and the forest held its breath, waiting to see how Flossy would carry its fragile luck.

Monster Meyhem: Haggis Bashing
Highland folklore warns little lambs that wild haggis will feast on the heart, lungs, and liver of any stray sheep unlucky enough to cross their path whilst travelling alone.
For Flossy Fleecefoot, that day was today! Not long after leaving Whispering Woods behind, poor Flossy was attacked by a horde of ravenous haggis.
Fortune’s Frond was quick to act though, and somehow summoned Flossy’s ursine best friend, Margaret, to assist her in this skirmish. With Margaret eating every second haggis, this brave wee sheep only had to deflect the occasional airborne haggis with her trusty unicorn shield. Let the haggis bashing commence!

Heart and Darkness: Ovinus Maximus
After her recent haggis-bashing massacre, Flossy Fleecefoot quickly became smitten by the power contained within the unassuming Fortune’s Frond.
Despite her better judgment, Flossy started to fantasise about what mysteries the four-leafed clover would bestow upon the animal who dared to actually eat this mythical meal.
Weak with desire, she chowed down.
…
Without even adding a basic salad dressing, Fortune’s Frond was devoured in seconds. With her tummy full and curiosity satiated, Flossy was a little confused as to why she felt so hollow inside.
The hollowness soon turned into mild indigestion, and then chronic heartburn. Flossy tried to forage for some peppermint leaves, but before long she was bent over in crippling agony. And then the transformation started…
The only witness to this herbal horror was Margaret, but despite their lifelong friendship, she bailed at the first opportunity. Margaret was always a smart bear and knew her Flossy was gone.
From the shadows stepped forward Flossy’s final form – ‘Ovinus Maximus’, a black sheep filled with bile and hatred for all things cute.
This woolly nightmare headed straight for her hometown, where cuteness was always considered a key strength (spoiler – it’s not).
By nightfall, Ovinus Maximus reached the village outskirts and encountered a lone farmer tending to his cute pumpkin patch. With only a brittle wooden rake to defend himself, he quickly abandoned both the tool and any future life goals. Dropping to his knees, the farmer wasted his final breath pleading for mercy…
