Gnome Sweet Gnome

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes.

Norman the Gnome is my latest Lego Ideas product idea. If you want a cute wee friend for your house too, please consider supporting him.

If we get 10,000 votes of support, the Lego Ideas team will consider making ‘Gnome Sweet Gnome’ an official Lego set that you can buy in the shops!

Inspiration

Garden gnomes have been a design classic for over 200 years, first introduced as lawn ornaments during the 19th century.

Now these cheeky figurines regularly feature in popular books, movies, video-games and TV shows.

Our family have friendly gnomes living in both the garden and the house. They don’t take up much room and love watching TV with us.

Background

I originally designed Norman the Gnome for the Lego Ideas challenge ‘Timeless Creations’ back in April 2025. Sadly, he didn’t make the Fan Vote stage, but I still love this wee guy and that’s why I’ve submitted him as a Product Idea.

Feel free to follow me on Lego Ideas to see my future submissions straight away.
